Evaporative Cooling - How
Does It Work?

Ever wondered why you feel cooler by the ocean, a river
or when standing on a damp lawn? Well, you feel cooler
because as hot air blows across the water, it causes some
of the water to evaporate and absorb the heat. The air
is cooled by this evaporation process and so, becomes a
"sea" breeze.
Hot
air enters the cooling unit on your roof where it is filtered
and cooled as it passes through moistened pads.
The fan then blows this beautifully cooled air throughout
your home. Hot air in the house is forced out through open
window and doors. This totally natural process gives your
home a complete change of air at least every two minutes.
Unlike refigerated systems that recycle the same stale
ari over and over.

Easy on Your Pocket
An evaporative air conditioner is without a doubt, the
most efficient way to cool your home. Unlike refrigerated
and reverse cycle systems, an evaporative cooling system
won't send the electricity bill skyrocketing every time
you turn it on. In fact, evaporative cooling systems
only use up to 1/8th the power of other systems. That
can add up to hunderds of dollars every year.
Remember too, that an evaporative system costs much less
to install than other ducted refrigerative systems or reverse
cycle systems.
